Auckland is New Zealand's largest city and has a population of almost 500,000 people. It's home to a diverse culture, including Chinese New Year celebrations that will take place in February 2023. Pasifika, the largest Pacific Island cultural festival in the world, is also returning to Auckland after a two-year hiatus.

And in July, Auckland will host the FIFA Women's World Cup 2023—the quadrennial tournament that brings together national teams from all around the world to compete for glory.

It's one of the largest cities in New Zealand, but it's also home to some of the most beautiful natural areas and historical sites. And it's home to a vibrant Maori community.

If you're into outdoor activities, Auckland has plenty of those. If you're looking for something more relaxing, there are plenty of waterfront seafood restaurants and bars that make for a great night out.
